What is the first step in solving for ln (x-1) = ln6-lnx? What property is used?

    Quotient Property. ln (x/y) = ln (x) - ln (y)

    ln (x-1) = ln (6/x)

    then you can disregard the logarithm and just set (x-1) equal to (6/x)

    x-1 = 6/x
