A ratio of 3 girls to 2 boys means that 3 of every 5 students are girls. 3/5 * 25 = 15, so there are 15 girls and 10 boys

    25 ... half that=12.5 ... minus 2.5=10. and 15 ...

    15 boys to 10 girls ... for 5 goes into 15 3 times and 2 times into 10 ... 15/10=3/2 ... 15+10=25
