Phaedra would like to buy a blouse costing $27, which is $3 more than 4 times the amount of money she has saved so far. how much more does she need to buy the blouse

    It cost 27$

    since its 3 more dollars then 4 times the amount of money she saved then

    27-3=24

    since its 4 times the amount of money you do 24/4 divide it by 4=6

    then try it forwards do 6 x 4+3=27

    then you do 27-6 cause she has 6 dollars

    27-6=21

    so she needs 21 more dollars to buy the blouse

    The answer is 3 because 4x6=24 and add 3 is 27 so she will need 3 dollars.
