A triangle has two sides of lengths 7 and 12 what value could the third side be

    We know that the longest side of the triangle cannot be longer or equal to the legnth of the sum of the other two sides (becasue if it was equal, then you would get a straight line)

    so if you assume that 12 is longest side then the other sides could be 6

    if you assume that the longest side is the third side then the longest side could be 18
