A formula for finding the area of a rectangle is A = l • w. If you know the area (A) and width (w) of a rectangle, which formula can you use to find the length (l) ?

    Take the area and divide it by the width.

    L=A/W All you have to do is rearrange your formula by dividing by w to get L by its self.
