Mrs. Williams is knitting a blanket for her newborn granddaughter. The blanket is 2.25 meters long and 1.8 meters wide. What is the area of the blanket? Write the answer in cm

    There is two ways to solve this question that will leave you with the same answer, one is to change the meters to centimeters first, following this line of thought we will multiply 2.25 by 100 which will leave you with 225 so when you do the same with the other number you will have 225 times 180 which = 40500cm the other way to find this answer is to multiply 2.25 times 1.8 = 4.05 which changed into centimeters = 40500cm so your final answer is 40500cm
