    Im not exactly sure about this, but i think for the first step, you would do 120*35/100=42 (35/100 is 35%). Then you take 120 and subtract 42, cuz thats how much you took off. 120-42=78. Then, you do 78/120*100 to get the percent you have left. 78/120*100=65%. The simpler way to do it, seeing as there arent mutiple sales on this pair of shoes, is just subtract 35 from 100 to get 65%
