The length of a rectangle is six times its width. if the area of the rectangle is 216 ft2, find its perimeter.

    L = 6w

    A = 216

    A = lw

    216 = (6w) (w)

    216 = 6w^2

    216/6 = w^2

    36 = w^2

    w = 6

    l = 6 (6)

    l = 36

    P = 2l + 2w

    P = 2 (36) + 2 (6)

    P = 72 + 12

    P=84
