At a school event there were 96 girls. the ratio of number of girls to the number of boys was 4:5

after some time some boys arrived and the ratio became2:3. how many boys arrived?

    144, 4:6 simplifies to 2:3, if you divide 96 by 2 you get 48, and 48 x 3 = 144
