On the next play, he gained 5 feet. Was his

gain greater on the first play or the second

    The first because he gained 2 yards which is equal to 12 feet, on the second he only gained 5 feet.

    2 (3) = 6, so he gained 6 feet on the first play. Therefore, the first play had the greater gain.
