    The perimeter (IP) of a rectangle is

    P = 2 (length + width)

    let width = w then length = w + 88

    P = 2 (w+w+88) = 2 (2w+88) = 4w+176

    Thus P = 4w+176 = 7272

    hence 4w = 7272 - 176 = 7096

    so w = 7096/4 = 1774

    width = 1774 inches and length = w+88 = 1774+88 = 1862 inches
