The length of a rectangular garden is 10 feet longer than its width. The garden's perimeter is 188 feet. Find the length of the garden.

    Let length = x, then the width = x-10

    Perimeter = 2L + 2W

    188 = 2x + 2 (x - 10)

    188 = 2x + 2x - 20

    4x = 208

    x = 52

    The length is 52 ft.
