    Length (L) : 3w ⇒3 (4) = 12

    width (w) : w ⇒ 4

    Area (A) = L x w

    A = 12 x 4

    A = 48

    Answer: 48 m²

    48 m²

    Step-by-step explanation:

    A rectangle has width and length as dimension.

    The rectangles width is 4 m

    The length of a rectangle is 3 times it's width.

    Therefore, Length = 3w

    Length = 3 (4)

    = 12 m

    L = 12 and w = 4

    Area of rectangle = L x W

    = 12 x 4

    = 48 m²

    Hence, The area of rectangle is 48 m²
