How do I solve - g+2 (3+g) = - 4 (g+1) ?

    2 (3+g) - g=-4 (g+1)

    6+2g-g=-4g-4

    6+g=4g-4

    6+g+4g=-4

    6+5g=-4

    5g=-4-6

    5g=-10

    g=-10/5

    g=-2
