Julie gets a 20% discount on all of the items in the clothing store where she works. If she buys a shirt that regularly costs $45.00, how much money will she save with her employee discount?

    20% discount means

    Previous price was $100 and now it's

    (100-20) = $80

    $100 is now $80

    So $1 is now = 80/100 = $ 0.8

    So $45 is now = 45x0.8 = $36

    So she will save $45 - $36 = $9
