One hundred draws will be made at random without replacement from a large box of numbered tickets. There are two options:

i) To win $1 if the sum of the draws is bigger than 710.

ii) To win $1 if the average of the draws is bigger than7.1

WHich is better? Or are they the same? Explain.

    So, when the sum of the 100 draws is 710, the average of the draws will be

    Therefore, the two chances are the same.
