the two lines graphed below are perpendicular. if the slope of the solid line is 3/4, what is the slope of the dashed line?

    Let the solid line be slope1 and dashed line be slope2

    For the dashed line to be perpendicular, the slope has to be:

    slope1 x slope2 = - 1

    thus

    3/4 x slope2 = - 1

    slope2 = - 4/3
