    Let the number of computer papers bought be x, the number of disk bought will be 7x.

    cost of each disk is $1.50

    cost of each computer paper is $2

    The total cost will be given by:

    Amount = (cost of disk*number of disk) + (cost of computer paper*number of papers)

    Amount=5050=1.5 (7x) + 2 (x)

    5050=10.5x+2x

    5050=12.5x

    x=5050/12.5

    x=404

    the number of computer papers sold was 404 and the number of diskettes sold was 404*7=2828
