The radius of a circular lens of a magnifying glass is 4 centimeters. What is the area in square centimeters of the glass

    You said that the radius is 4cm.

    We can use the formula for the area of a circle: π x r²

    So π x (4) ²

    is π x 16

    = 16π

    = 50.3 cm² (aprox).
