A fair cube is used in a game. the face of the cube are labeled 1 through 6. what is the probability of a player rolling a number grater than 4?

    There are six equally possible outcomes to get: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The probability to roll a number greater than 4 is equal to the probability to get 5 or 6, two of the six possible outcomes. Thus the probability is 2/6=1/3.
