    Given that x is a standard normal random variable.

    P (-1.20 < x < 1.74) = P (x < 1.74) - P (x < - 1.20)

    = P (x < 1.74) - [1 - P (x < 1.20) ] = P (x < 1.74) + P (x < 1.20) - 1

    = 0.95907 + 0.88493 - 1 = 0.844
