If there are rectangles that all have the same perimeter, which one will have the least area? which one will have the greatest area?

    The ones that will have the least area will be the ones that are the thinnest. That is to say, the ones with the greatest width to length (or length to width) ratios would have the smallest area.

    The ones with the greatest area would be the ones with the smallest width to length (or length to width) ratios. They would be squares.
