Suppose you to multiply a whole number greater than 1 by the fraction3/5. will the product be greater than, less than, or equal to 3/5?

    The product will be greater than 3/5, but less than the number you multiply it by. For example, 2 x 3/5 is 6/5 or 1 and 1/5, which is greater than 3/5, but less than 2.
