If 80 pounds of seeds costs $96 what would be the cost of 300 pounds of seeds

    The cost would be 360. You divide 300 by 80 to get 3.75 then times it by 96

    Your answer would be 360 because 80 x 3 is 240 and 96 x 3 is 288 then we need to add 60 pounds and to do that we need to find the unit rate of 96 which is 24 and 24 x 3 is 72 + 288 = $360.
