    15 workers in Team 1 and 8 in Team 2.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the number of workers that were in team 2 = x, then the number in Team 1

    would have been 2x.

    So later we had 2x - 5 workers in Team 1 and x - 2 in Team 2.

    Now there are 7 more workers in Team 1 so we have the equation

    2x - 5 - (x - 2) = 7

    x - 5 + 2 = 7

    x = 10.

    So now there are 20 - 5 = 15 workers in Team 1 and 10 - 2 = 8 in Team 2.
