    X+17=number of times Ellis comes to bat

    x=number of times Dwight comes to bat

    x+10 = number of times Wade comes to bat.

    we can suggest this equation:

    (x+17) + (x) + (x+10) = 1650

    3x+27=1650

    3x=1650-27

    3x=1623

    x=1623/3

    x=541

    Therefore:

    x+17=number of times Ellis comes to bat: 541+17=558

    x=number of times Dwight comes to bat: 541

    x+10 = number of times Wade comes to bat: 541+10=551

    Answer: Ellis comes to bat 558 times.
