What adds to get 6 but multiplied to get 11

    There are no 'real' numbers that can do the job.

    The two numbers you want are 'complex' numbers.

    They are

    3 + i1.414

    and

    3 - i1.414.

    ('i' is the square root of - 1.)

    Because 11 is prime the only numbers that multiply to 11 are 11 and 1, in no way can you make those numbers add to 6 so their are no numbers that add to 6 and multiply to 11
