The length of a rectangle is 4 times its width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 60 M. what is the area

    Since the length is 4times the width that means. 4l is the length.

    Perimeter is 60cm.

    Therefore

    60 = 4l+l + 4l + l

    60 = 10l

    L = 60/10

    L = 10.

    Area of rectangle is l*w

    Therefore

    4l=24cm and w = 6cm

    Which gives us

    24cm * 6cm = 104 cm
