Jody's lunch cost her $14.24 including the tip amount.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Jody's lunch cost: $11.73

    Karen's lunch cost: $13.35

    Total cost = $11.73 + $13.35

    = $25.08

    Tip amount = 20% of $25.08

    = $5.02

Dividing tip into two division: $2.51 per person

    Jody's lunch cost including tip = $11.73 + $2.51

    =$14.24

Jody has to pay $14.24 for total after splitting the tip amount with Karen.
