Use the distributive property to multiply.

-10 (3x-6y+4)

    Remember that when you distribute, you multiply the outside number (-10) to all of the inside number separately (3x, - 6y, and 4)

    So while distributing, the expression is equivalent to (-10) 3x + (-10) - 6y + (-10) 4

    This equals - 30x + 60y - 40

    Tell me if this answer doesn't make sense.
