Hello, I need to solve this two step equations with decimals

8.5p + 6 = 40

    What u need to do is just to solve this simple equation by following each different steps. So first of all, u going to do the subtraction, which is subtract second term 6 from bother sides so u will get 34 on the left side. Then, u divide 8.5 from both sides. After u done this step, the final answer will be P = 4! Bingo
