    9+2 (|4x-3|) = 19

    2 (|4x-3|) + 9=19

    Add - 9 to both sides.

    2 (|4x-3|) + 9+-9=19+-9

    2 (|4x-3|) = 10

    Divide both sides by 2.

    2 (|4x-3|) / 2=10/2

    |4x-3|=5

    Solve Absolute Value.

    |4x-3|=5

    4x-3=5 or 4x-3=-5

    4x-3=5

    4x-3+3=5+3 (Add 3 to both sides)

    4x=8

    4x/4=8/4 (Divide both sides by 4)

    x=2

    4x-3=-5

    4x-3+3=-5+3 (Add 3 to both sides)

    4x=-2

    4x/4=-2/4 (Divide both sides by 4)

    x=-1/2
