    =7/35 + 5/35 = 7+5/35 = 12/35

    2) Let the number be x

    x + 6*1/x = - 5

    x + 6/x = - 5

    (x² + 6) / x = - 5

    x² + 6 = - 5x

    x² + 5x + 6 = 0

    x² + 3x + 2x + 2*3 = 0

    x (x+3) + 2 (x+3) = 0

    (x+3) (x+2) = 0

    x + 3 = 0 or x + 2 = 0

    x = - 3 or x = - 2

    the number is (-3) or (-2)
