If the fruit stand has 72 cantaloupes and group A has twice as much as group B, then you have to divide 72 by 3. Now you have to mutiply the quotient by 2 and that is how much cantaloupes in group A. The quotient by itself is how much there is in group B. So the answer is ... 48 cantaloupes are in group A and 24 cantaloupes are in group B.
