There are two ways you could do this.
1) 314 is about 310. 592 is about 590. So 310 + 590 = 900.
314 + 592 ≈ 900.
2) 314 is about 300. 592 is about 600. So 300 + 600 = 900.
314 + 592 ≈ 900.

Well 314 rounds to 300 if rounded to the hundreds place. If rounded to the tens place it would be 310. And 592 rounded to the hundreds place is 600. If rounded to the tens place you would get 590.
And so, your answer will be 900 if rounded to the hundreds place
