    3 eggs / 2 dozen = x eggs / 60 dozen

    cross products

    3 * 60 = 2*x

    divide by 2

    90 = x

    You will need 90 eggs

    3 eggs / 2 dozen = 12 eggs / y dozen

    cross products

    3 * y = 2*12

    3y = 24

    y = 8

    you can make 8 dozen cookies with 12 eggs
