A square is cut in half on the diagonol, creating two equal triangles. Each triangle has and area of 0.72 square units. What is the side lengths in units of the original square?

    If the triangle area is 0.72 the area of the square is 0.72+0.72 = 1.44 Square units

    Also area of a square = side ^2

    Side ^2 = 1.44

    Side = sqrt (1.44) = 1.2 units

    Answer is 1.2 units
