A 3 mL sample of a liquid has a mass of 9 g. What is the density of this liquid?

    Density = Mass/Volume

    Mass = 9 g

    Volume = 3 ml

    Since gram & ml are equivalent, ten

    D = 9/3 = 3g/ml or 3kg/l
