Fiona wrote the linear equation y = x - 5. When Henry wrote his equation, they discovered that his equation had all the same solutions as Fiona's. Which equation could be Henry's?

    Fiona equation is y = x-5

    So Henry's equation would be x = y+5 by adding 5 for both sides of the equation

    To check, let's say x=2

    Fiona equation y = 2-5 = - 3

    Henry equation when x=2, 2 = y+5 so, y = 2-5 = - 3
