Using the replacement set, find the solutions for the equation.

y = 0.5x + 10 Replacement Set: { (-2, 9.5), (0, 10), (3, 11.5), (4, 13) }

{ (0, 10), (3, 11.5), (4, 13) }

{ (0, 10), (3, 11.5) }

{ (-2, 9.5), (0, 10), (3, 11.5) }

{ (-2, 9.5), (0, 10), (3, 11.5), (4, 13) }

    How you do this is plug the x and y in the equation and check if they equal eachother.

    For example,

    y = 0.5x + 10

    9.5 = 0.5 (2) + 10

    9.5 = 1 + 11

    9.5 ≠ 11

    So, (2, 9.5) is not a solution for this equation

    Here, the solution is { (0, 10), (3, 11.5) }
