Henry made 3 batches of cookies. Each batch creates 12 cookies. If Henry gave the same amount of cookies to all of his 20 coworkers, how many cookies will Henry have left?

    so there are (3 * 12) = 36 cookies.

    He wants to give the same amount of cookies to all of his 20 coworkers ...

    he can give each coworker 1 cookie and have 16 remaining cookies <=

    12*3=36

    So Henry has a total of 36 cookies he can give to his 20 coworkers

    Subtract 36-20=16

    Henry will have 16 cookies left over
