Thirty 8th graders signed up for running, however nine dropped out before the first practice. If 46 2/3 of the club are 8th graders, how many total students are in the running club?

    Okay so, the first thing you need to do is find the total number of students. 46 divided by 2 (you get the 2 from 2/3) is 23 (which is a weird number) Now you multiply 23 by 3, which is 69.
