Three cans of Additive are regularly priced at 5 for $2.95. If you buy them at a special sale, you get a factory rebate of $1. What is the net cost per can the sale price?

    The regular price is 5 for $2.95. One can is $2.95/5 = $0.59. Three cans are $1.77. With the $1 rebate, the final price would be $0.77 for 3 cans, $0.25 per can.
