1/2 the weight of a brick + 20 = 1/3 the weight of a brick + 30. What is the weight of the brick?

    0
    1/2x+20=1/3x+30

    Subtract 20 on both sides

    1/2x=1/3x+10

    Subtract 1/3x on both sides

    1/6x=10

    Multiply by 6 on both sides

    X=60
