If x represents the measure of the angle, then which of the following expressions would equal x?

Ok let us see it this way:

If x is the measure of the angle we require

    The complement is 90 - x

one half of the complement is therefore 0.5 (90 - x)

18 degrees less than one half of the measure of the complement is

    0.5 (90 - x) - 18

I hope this can be of good use
