Why doesn't matter what letter or symbol is used to find an unknown number

    The reason why is because an unknown number needs to be found. A variable is a letter to represent an unknown. So in that case it doesn't matter whatever you put as long as you are able to find your answer

    X or y some math problems dont use and random letter they just use these letters
