    You could not develop a testable hypothesis for the apples,

    the puppies, or the flowers, because different people have

    different ideas of good taste, cuteness, and prettyness. But you COULD test to see whether any species of woodfloats in water ... when you drop a piece of it in water, either floats or sinks, and ANYbody who sees it agreeson what it does.
