What is the difference between vehicle borne and vector borne transmission?

    Vehicle borne transmission is an indirect transmission of an infectious organism when the host of the organism is in contact with another potential host. Vector borne, on the other hand, happens when there is a transmitter involved causing the spread of the disease. This transmitter is called the vector.
