In a certain region of space, a uniform electric field is in the x direction. A particle with negative charge is carried from x = 20.0 cm to x = 60.0 cm. (i) Does the electric potential energy of the charge-field increase, remain constant, decrease, or change unpredictably?

    Explanation:The direction of the Electric Field from the question is in the + x direction a negative charge direction is always opposite to that of the Electric Field for there to be a change in Electric potential V (r). But in this case the negative charge in the same direction + x as the Electric Field. So dV/dr = 0. This is only true when V is a constant.
