    The correct answer is D. Infrared light has a lower frequency and a longer wavelength than ultraviolet light. Infrared and ultraviolet light are both electromagnetic waves which are waves that have electric and magnetic fields and can propagate without a medium. The electromagnetic spectrum, which shows the arrangement of e. m. waves in order of wavelength and frequency shows infrared light having a lower frequency and longer wavelength than ultraviolet light.
